A little song we did…
Christmas here in Michigan, as with many traditionally cold places in the U.S. this time of year, was unseasonably warm and FAR from white. But we still enjoyed good food and some family time at home.
Hope you all (who celebrate) had a Merry Christmas and wishing you all a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year!
Perhaps we’ll see you all more in 2016!
Here’s the “professional” version that I recorded for my Soundcloud page:
Amazing! What a nice treat. Sounds like you had a good Christmas despite the lack of snow. We are planning a trip north and hoping for some snow, but we’re likely going to be disappointed. 😦 But how can you be disappointed being in Michigan? Here’s to a Happy New Year!
Sorry Clay you won’t find much white unless you go pretty far north. Unless you go to the ski slopes where they make their own! 🙂 Hope you have a nice trip anyhow, still PLENTY to do!
Merry Christmas! Enjoyed your version. One can never have enough kazoo in Christmas.
I’ve been away from WP since the summer, but, oddly, the weather hasn’t changed all that much.

😕
I’ll be back in the next week or two to read some of your missed posts. Am trying to do some catching up, and I’d barely stepped onto your bus before I fell off again (of yours and everyone’s, except that bus I always ride–you know the one).
Thanks and don’t worry I haven’t been on here at all for awhile either. 2016 is the year we all get back to writing (and reading), right? 🙂 And yes never enough Kazoo!
I LOVE this! Merry Christmas, Steve! Good to see you again.
Hi Susie, glad you liked it. Was fun to get all four of us together, in one place, for a short time! Seems that is pretty challenging these days. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!
Excellent! What a talented family, and I love the kazoos… or kazooses!
Looking forward to your return to the blogging world. There are not many of us left from the late 2009 crop of WordPress start-ups!
Thanks, it was fun. Hopefully I can get back at this blog a bit more in the coming year. We’ll see. Hard to believe it was 2009 when we started these!!
A very festive greeting–amazing that you got teenagers to play along!
Ha! Thanks! They were pretty good about it. Although I did throw in a little bribe that if we got 100 Facebook likes by year end, I’d give them each $20 bucks. Guess I’m gonna have to tally in blog likes too!
How delightful!!! And harmonious! Merry (belated) Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks! And to you too!
Fabulous! More please for 2016. *grin*
I’ll sure try, but pulling my kids into the mix seems to get more and more difficult!
Tell ’em you’ll buy them a pair of designer jeans. *evil grin*
