Happy Halloween from Brown Road Chronicles.
May your day be filled with ghosts and ghouls and witches and black cats and vampires and werewolves and jack-o-lanterns and friends and family and kids and trick-or-treaters and Twix Bars and Snickers and Three Musketeers and whatever else makes Halloween special for you!
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. My stomach will be full of them. My husband bought a box of 125 Snack Size Bars, but no one ever comes out to our country home to trick or treat! What was he thinking?
yeah! Love it! We are sitting down now to do our own pumpkin carving….we opted to do it sans children this year. 2-year-olds and knives don’t mix well. Happy Halloween!
Those darn mini snickers and Peanut Butter cups…get me every time. I totally raid the kids bags during trick-or-treat. “What did you get?” as they come down the sidewalk. Ohhh, that looks tasty. I might have to sample.
We will carve our pumpkin tomorrow late afternoon. We won’t be too creative…opting for more “props.” If it turns out okay, we’ll post. In the meantime, I posted a couple of Halloween stories from my youth.
HAPPY HAUNTING! 🙂
P.S. Go visit that one guys grave, so he doesn’t come knocking on your door this year!

Awesome pumpkin carving!!! Really captures the spirit of the holiday. Well, the UN holy day…
You are my third Halloween comment in a row – I think I am going to skip the rest!!! 😆 I’m busy bemoaning the sad fact this USA tradition seems to have infiltrated the Australian culture, at least in pockets. We had two rings at the doorbell tonight for the first time ever!
I do like the carving job, however! 😀
Cool pumpkin! And it’s happening in France too. Who doesn’t like to dress up and be someone (or thing) that you’re not! Go Australia!
Same to you man, hope you & yours has a fun, scary, & safe Halloween.
You forgot the fireworks, or do you not bother with them. Have a nice one.
Great pumpkin. Hope you had a great holiday and aren’t suffering from any post-Halloween candy withdrawal.
I remember the guy who lived across the street from the school gave out silver dollar coins to the first 50 kids! … I don’t know what he gave the rest; I was always there early. hee hee!
hope you had a great halloween last goth weekend till next year for me and a big fireworks display hope you have a good weekend xxjen
We also live out in the country and the town 7 miles down the road has a community center. Every year they host a Halloween Bash for the area kids, which includes a hay ride SCORE! All of our kids had a blast, plus I played my first game of bingo and I won first round out of the gate. Best way to go the community center. I lose my mind trying to watch 7 kids run in different directions in costumes. Plus I end up with bald spots and no finger nails by nights end from all the pulling and chewing 😉
